"Connective Architecture(s) Reloaded" - Lecture at ISE Amsterdam
Amsterdam / Feb 6, 2017
Integrated Systems Europe, one of the world's largest AV and systems integration show, will host an opening address by Ole Scheeren on February 6, 2017.
The ISE 2017 Opening Address will be given by Ole Scheeren. As in previous years the speech takes place on the day before ISE opens its doors. This year’s edition of the exhibition will be the largest so far, featuring two news halls and over 130 new exhibitors.
In his Opening Address entitled, ‘Connective Architecture(s) Reloaded,’ Scheeren will share his vision of contemporary architectural and urban development and explore how technology and architectural design combine to influence the creativity of one another.
Ole Scheeren: “Through the lens of my practices' architectural projects, buildings can be understood as tools for communication, tools for living and working together. Ultimately, architecture allows its users to connect through physical spaces. We have to ask ourselves: how do we script the interplay between digital space and physical space?”
