Dean & DeLuca STAGE has been selected as a finalist in the "Counter Service" category for the 2019 NYCxDesign Award.
The winners of the 2019 NYCxDESIGN Award will be announced on May 20 at an awards ceremony hosted by Interior Design Magazine at Pier 17 during ICFF in New York City.
Situated in one of New York’s most vibrant and lively neighborhoods, the first location of STAGE was unveiled in the Meatpacking District in the beginning of April, 2018.
STAGE was first presented at Design Miami/2016 and represents Büro Ole Scheeren’s interest in shared and communal space, and the ability of architecture to bring people together and explore new possibilities and qualities of social interaction, whether in large-scale developments or more intimate interior projects. The development of STAGE was overseen by OS Development, a New York based project management and design execution firm working with Buro-OS.
