Sharjah Film Platform is a new, annual film program organized by the Sharjah Art Foundation in the United Arab Emirates. Conceived to support film production in the UAE and the region beyond, it provides a critical platform for both established and aspiring filmmakers.

Mirage City Cinema, one of the venues of the Film Platforms, is a cinema-architecture space by Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Ole Scheeren, commissioned by Sharjah Art Foundation as part of the Sharjah Biennial 11 film program in 2013.
Mirage City Cinema, the only outdoor cinema space in Sharjah, is part of the diverse programming of the inaugural Film Platform, being held from January 18-26, 2019.
